The last Disney offer for 2018 was the free nights one which ended last week. The next offer will be for 2019 (hopefully free dining). That said, you can often find cheap packages if you book late and are going in low season, which September will be, or you could look at the US site as they'll have different 2018 offers running for most of the year as Americans tend to book a lot later than us

Some people seem to think Disney would be affected by drop in bookingst if they pulled the plug on free DDP.
Disney would have done the math and know that they would still be able to fill all the rooms without it, not necessarily with Brits but with those willing to pay for the meals on site. We always keep hearing that UK visitor numbers are down anyway which again could effect Disneys decision whether to end it. Edited at 06:23 PM. |

For us, the food and drink is a massive part of our love for Disney, especially at Signature restaurants like Narcoossee's and the California Grill.
Free DDP is absolutely integral to us being able to go and have the holiday experience we want. |

Staying offsite and eating offsite (with the occasional onsite meal) is always going to be cheaper.
But for those people who like to eat at the onsite restaurants, stay onsite in the Disney bubble, and want all the benefits that come with staying onsite then the free DDP deal makes the prices a little more palatable. The difference in price between staying onsite and offsite becomes a lot smaller. Also, people like a good deal and the perception of a "bargain". They see that they get free dining and think they're getting something for nothing and that makes them feel better about the holiday.
