"Prices don't go up with Free DDP" They said!

Quote yesterday was:

PORT ORLEANS FRENCH QUARTER
14 nights for 2 people
Room Type: Standard
October 19th 2019
14 Day Tickets
Cost: £3,232.56
DDP Upgrade to DDP: £476
TOTAL: £3,708.56

Today with the Free DDP it comes out at over £4000 for the exact same booking! I feel a bit let down to be honest as I believed the planners who said free DDP was definitely free.

In yesterdays quote when you added the tickets - didnt you also get a ”combine and save” discount? That promotion has now stopped.

I'm gutted too but I was one of those planners that said free really meant free.

I have been going with free dining for years and it has never gone up before. I'm not happy either. It is still worth it but it is not free.

Parking used to be free too...

what next.

Me too. I’m extremely angry . I was one of the ones who said it doesn’t go up because historically it never did.

Really, yesterday I was getting 14 nights 20th Oct 19 £2,500 today it is £2,700 so yes it’s gone up but only by £200.
That’s 2a and 2c but that doesn’t matter when you’re pricing the room.

The DDP was £54.99per person per night yesterday... So for 14 nights for 2 people it was £1,539.72, not £476

The price of 5 nights at Beach Club went up £140 for me on the basic price compared with yesterday, plus there is no longer the £100 odd discount there was yesterday.

Based on previous years I was hoping it would go down a bit.

I assume that’s the difference between qs and full Dining ?

Yeh, but it wasn't free yesterday, so to book then you'd be paying full price.

I'm not disputing the prices have gone up, but OP is not giving an accurate view of the cost to book yesterday versus today
