Discovery Cove Prices

When did they get this expensive!?

Question: Is it because I'm doing it so far in advance? In August 2016 I paid £848 for 4 people to do a dolphin swim day. I got one of the last few tickets for that day. Now I'm -contemplating- paying £570 for two people in August 2020?

I know the prices increase each year and I thought I was prepared but - sheesh!

Don't get me started on the cabana price increase .

I promised Michael we'd swim with dolphins.

You can get a Discovery Cove Ultimate ticket with dolphin swim from ATD for £202/pp?

We brought ours for next year (Sept) a couple of months ago for £153/pp with dolphin swim.

We're looking at the 13th August. It's £285 a ticket on ATD . That's all week.

Oh wowzers, just spotted that.

I wonder if it's because it's classed as a peak time maybe?

Most likely. I just didn’t expect the price to go up by so much in four years (we’re going at the same time as last year).

Ouch that is alot! I guess it's because it's August so it's peak time. They have good offers on around thanksgiving so might be worth holding out until then and seeing what the prices are like

Good plan. I hadn't thought of that.

We paid just over £660 for 4 of us to do the dolphin swim this July booked direct with Discovery Cove during their Blue Friday deals. It was $199 plus tax each totalling $847.76. If I were you I’d hold off until November to see what they offer this year. The current price on DC website for our dates $355 plus tax so massive savings for us. We paid a fair bit more when we went in July 2016 than we’re paying this year, we booked in the February of that year so no Blue Friday offer.

Definitely worth waiting for the Blue Friday sale as it was for any dates, standard price - same for non-swim as it was for swim. We bought 6 tickets for our May trip and 4 tickets for our September/October trip - all cost approximately £165 each.
