does everyone still do labels for the cases

I don’t do labels but I do put my name, destination and contact details on a piece of paper on the top of my clothes inside the case,

I do, our suitcases are very ordinary looking so I always add a big coloured label.

Plus if my luggage goes astray or the barcode gets mangled I like to think my case will reach me more easily even though it probably won't.

I always have a label inside each case with my contact details on as well since I saw a TV programme about lost luggage going up for auction lol

Sorry should have also said we have luggage straps with our initials on. There are always lots of cases the same as ours so they stand out with the straps.

Always do that since someone walked off with ours in MCO they are quite reasonable on Amazon and have lasted several trips. No doubt there is a link on here

Snap plus home address.

We do. I always put where we’re staying on the way out and our home address on return, plus we have bright red luggage straps with our name on them. Full belt and braces!

I do big colourful labels. Flight no destintion airport, and surname. I also put my name, phone number, and e mail address inside the case. Not the address in case it falls into the wrong hands and I get burgled while I'm away.

My bright yellow Tripp case has my name and contact on a unique looking tag, on the little pull out thingy, and I have purple ribbon on it, with my name... (I got it for Florida!)
The other cases have similar measures, and my details on paper inside all of them. I learnt the ribbon thing from my mum years ago, when everyone had very similar cases, (then we have very generic looking black ones!) I think it’s good practice to ensure you can stop it as it comes out and keep an eye on, (in case someone picks it up, intentionally or not!)
