We like Tenerife, as our older children love Siam Water Park.

Our teen is very into sightseeing, so Venice, Athens, Rome etc is her type of holiday.

Tenerife is a good choice as many teens will enjoy Siam Park. Salou and the surrounding area is good too as there is PortAventura park to visit, plus you could visit Barcelona for the day. If your teen is into football, the Nou Camp in Barcelona would be a great place to visit.

We love Croatia! We have been a few times and we normally fly into Split and then stay in Hvar and do island day trips from there. We also did Sorrento last year and used the fast ferry to travel up the Amalfi coast, our DS 12 loved it there too. Loads of swimming and fantastic food as well.

Tenerife covers most bases and is big enough to explore.

For us? ... Dual centre, Rome for 5 then the train to Sorrento for 9.

We've had great holidays for the past 2 years in Greek islands. Corfu last year, Kos the year before. Hired a car for a fortnight and explored the islands. We've been up mountains, swum to tiny islands, jumped off cliffs, visited deserted beaches with just goats for company, milled our own flour, caught fish, snorkled, eaten in village taverns... the list is endless. But it depends what you're after. An AI hotel holiday would be our worst nightmare, but to plenty of people it's their holiday heaven. Do you want town or beach? Hot or not so hot?!

Our teens are probably unusual in that they love all things historical, so holidays (apart for Florida ones) normally have places of historical interest - Malta, France for the D-day beaches, cemeteries and Bayeux tapestry, Cyprus. This year we are going on a med cruise and they can't wait to get a taste of Rome, Barcelona, Monaco, Pompeii and Pisa. When they were younger we had a great holiday in Portaventura if you still want the theme park element.

My DD15 asked for Switzerland this year. We have booked two chalets in different parts - though both in the mountains. We are driving there (live in France) and will do a lot of walking (dog coming too! )

At Easter we are hoping to go to Stockholm - again her request. Lots of sightseeing - and walking!
