we booked too :)

From London to San Francisco and return from Tampa to London

The plan (so far) is maybe to go from San Fran to Las Vegas via Death Valley, then an internal flight back to Florida!

We nearly booked the train, but the lure of possibly an RV whilst in the West sounded a little too good. Lots of planning to do now (and lots of reading as never been to the west Coast before)

Sounds great. Who are you flying with and how much were the flights?

Thanks

i am only planning my Florida stay, well have it planned, and our Las Vegas stay, as our cousins are meeting us and have our 3 weeks planned for us, but only know we are going camping for a week in their RV i think, then meeting our other cousin in San Fran for a few days, and they have it planned for us, then to LA to meet other family before flying home.Hope to see a lot of places, but can always go back next year if we enjoy California
I should say, these where DWs cousins that we just traced this year, a long story, my DW father died in 1970, and his mother died in 1924 when he was a baby and his sisters went to US while he was sent to Belfast as a baby, all contact was lost , until earlier this year when we traced her cousins, 2 came to Florida for 4 days in July to spend some time with us and we had a great 4 days ,very emotional for DW, but we where invited to California Palm Springs ne
xt year so included it in with our Florida trip
