Vegas Wedding Vow Renewal plans

We are spending 4 days in Vegas next year as part of our family road trip. We're seriously thinking of renewing our vows in a wedding chapel while we're there - DH fancies an Elvis theme too!

Has anyone done this before or could give advice as to the best place on value for $ please? Thanks!

the small white wedding chapel is 205 GBP, i know this as me who has been wanting to re-new our wedding vows traditionally, has been told by DH no after i have been thinking we were for the last 11 years, as he dosnt see the point, however for someone who dosnt see the point wants to do it in vegas! so it is either renew them his way or no way :-(

why do i want to do it so bad and soooo right? i was 19 when i got married, my mum chose my wedding dress,(i had a choice out of 2) and the venue, the car was the wrong car, my hair didnt go in right and my photographer never turned up, Also i found out 6 weeks before our wedding i was 5 months pregnant and nearly miscarried on our wedding day. no real valid reason lol

i have asked him if he is being serious and he is certain he is lol

I had thought about "slipping" this into our trip next year, but as the trip is a suprise already, I don't know if I could afford to do the vow renewal too ontop of everything else I wanted in the trip!

Are you doing the trip yourself? I know Virgin add these types of vow renewals on to your holiday...I also looked at this place called Chapel of The Flowers, google it... their renewal of vows package is $345

Yes we are doing the holiday ourselves. Have a look at las-vegas-weddings and they have loads of vow renewal venues starting at $85 at Circus Circus. Fancy a chapel rather than a hotel myself and there are lots that seem very reasonable and have flowers, photos etc too.

Gemma-Lou I think it's great your husband has changed his mind and what a fab place to make a special memory too. I was 19 too when I got married - the first time!
