All the 'additions' make a reasonable priced flight so expensive. I'm not sure if everybody else are paying these prices or waiting for normal prices to appear ?

I agree! We've booked on site with Disney direct for 20th of September - 4th of October. Manchester to MCO is currently £541pp hand luggage only!

I am looking for August but have just checked Aer lingus for you and if you go a day earlier and come back a day earlier based on 4 adults it is coming up £500 is pound per person 1 stop but pre clearance in dublin that includes luggage not sure if this is any good for you

Prices are high, I have booked 2 Virgin PE seats Glasgow - MCO for 19th Sep - Oct 3rd. 1 seat was £893 which I was ok with but the other seat in the next price bucket was £973.
At least this is PE and averages out at £933 per seat, I would not be paying that for EC. You might be better looking at PE as then you get your extra legroom guaranteed.

Reasonably priced is different in a passengers eyes to an airline company.
They have a cost to run each flight, this is much more than the cheap flight prices you see. Thats based upon the more expensive, closer to the actual costs prices being sold and making the cheaper prices available once fixed costs and oprofit per flight are factored in.
An economy flight is probably nearer £1,400 thasn £300.
