Possible Hepatitis Infection Denny's Irlo Bronson Hwy

Just watching the news and I see 2 employees possibly have this infection.
Visitors between certain dates in Oct thru Nov should seek medical assistance

The location is Denny's at 2051 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway

How come we never hear of anyone in the U.K. restaurants getting it? Suspect it’s brushed under the carpet here and never reported? Edit I had a look- rarely reported there was a couple last few years. Suspect a lot more we never hear about.

YT. I suspect if we knew all the ins and outs of food hygiene and employee issues we would never eat out or buy a take away ever again!

I resemble that remark MrT... we're far happier eating home prepared food and avoid eating out as best we can, saves us a small fortune too.

Chris. At home we might have 1 Chinese take away a year. That's it!

We eat out maybe 4 or 5 times a year.

The rest of the time I cook at home. God love M & S!

I must be very lazy and/or very decadent as I cannot imagine coming home from holiday and not having a prawn curry from the local Chinese restaurant, or not going out for meals for family birthdays - even the children get to choose where we go when it's their birthdays.
To be honest I do mainly cook and always from scratch, I quite enjoy cooking but we all deserve a day off or a change now and then.

I can't remember ever eating in Denny's although I imagine if there is a risk it would be in all restaurants.
