I’ve booked through attraction tickets direct as they have higher grade rooms for cheaper than the standard rooms - not sure why.

I’ve always booked direct, last year when hang in due to COVID there was no issue , cancelled in the website and deposit refunded immediately

We booked through hotel.com using Klarna so we didn't need to pay all in one go. We also cancelled and the money was back into our account a few days later.

I always book direct but only because of being a pass holder gets me discount( thou you have to be quick to snap them up) and I find BA to be very good for universal hotel prices
