well we have taken the plunge and booked a villa for next May, the week after my daughters wedding so we are having a family disney moon- I so hope this comes off as we had to cancel last August and are desperate to get back there- will wait for flights until theres more confirmation we can go, villa deposit almost a grand but refundable until end of april next year so should be ok

dibbers thoughts on the likelihood of this going ahead?

Well if we are not back to normal by May 2022 I just don’t know when it will be. We seem to keep taking two steps forward and one step back.

then boom- changes with portugal today and a so called nepal version of the indian/delta variant- I just wish this nightmare would end so disney dreaming days could begin again once and for all!

We are booked for May 22 as well just flights to book but I will hold back on them I think until more certainty.

Looks like next month is a write off but my OH, who has never been before has agreed to go with me in May next year. He’s in the “Disney is for children” camp but I’ll see what I can do about that with The Mouse’s help. 😀

So we’ve booked CSR for 2 weeks on condition he can play golf 5 days. Sounds like a deal to me!
