I’m genuinely curious why the NHS would be under pressure during the winter months. Everybody will be fully jabbed and the most vulnerable will have had their booster jabs. In Greater Manchester there are currently 120 people in hospital with the Delta variant. Only 2 of those are fully vaccinated. 93 have had no jab. Compelling data. The vaccine works, so I don’t see an issue with travel in Jan/Feb. Indeed, I am very confident our September trip will go ahead.

I know that, but it’s never stopped international travel before! And because of the vaccine, Covid admissions will be minimal. If I’m reading some of these comments correctly, it would indicate some people think international travel would only be possible in summer months going forward. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, but if we’re not travelling by Jan/Feb, there will be no travel/aviation industry left to speak of, and it would be an economic disaster.

I am very positive really that things will be open this year so Jan/Feb 2022 should be all fine.
Let's hope they never close the borders ever again! |
