Hotels at clearwater?

We are looking to visit clearwater this trip (we've done Anna Maria and honeymoon island) but are thinking about staying the night in a hotel so we and the kids can enjoy a couple of full days there.

Can anyone recommend there as we've never been. Wanting to be within walking distance of the pier etc if thats possible so we can have a nice evening walk as heard its nice there in an evening x

We stayed at The Sandpearl which is right on the beach. We walked to the pier comfortably. Really enjoyed our night there.

We stayed at the Sandpearl Resort for a few nights a couple of years ago & that was lovely. Right on the beach & they had their own section with comfy sun loungers. Would definitely stay there again.

We have always stayed at the Hyatt before and I thoroughly recommend it. The rooms are very spacious.

This year we have 2 nights booked at the Sandpearl just to try somewhere different and also the Hyatt were asking for silly money

We stayed at pier house 60 across the road from the pier and loved it. Rooms were a good size, we had a balcony room and use to watch the dolphins in the harbour. It also has a very good roof top bar.
