OKW - recommend?

Would like to think of renting DVC points for OKW.

Travel solo mostly so only really need a studio.

What room/s would you recommend? Would like to be by transport, lobby and boat to Springs?

Room numbers would be great too, have looked at touring plans and not really getting much info for the rooms other than a view.

Thank you

Sarah

Personally, I think it's a bit isolated. We have booked for this year due to the size of the rooms for our family of 4 but as a solo traveller I would choose somewhere that was more central, if Disney Springs is important than maybe look at SSR.

Personally, I'd opt for the Boardwalk area, or Bay Lake if you like MK

I agree with Bev, I wouldn't want to be out in OKW on my own, I'd be much happier at an Epcot or MK resort. The Boardwalk would be the lowest in points out of those locations, as long as you're not looking at Sept/Oct during food and wine, you should be able to get a studio there easily enough.

If you do settle on OKW, then personally I'd want to be up near Hospitality House for the transport, near to the bus stops and the boat.

I’d stay there on my own no problem, would be quite tranquil.

There are many regular solo visitors to OKW, am on various FB groups and they often comment how they are made to feel welcome and regularly make acquaintance with others. (Might not be what you are looking for! 🤣 )
It is tranquil and laid back but has a fantastic "feel"
The boats to Downtown Disney are every 20 mins.
We visit Boardwalk maybe half a dozen times each trip it's a piece of cake getting a Yellow Cab from Bell Services or even better Lyft.
It's probably our 25th visit ON 6th AUG! 🤞
We ask for block 62 and majority of times we are lucky, it has a lift.
Wish I was in 6231 right now
Wherever you choose have a great trip.

I've stayed at OKW on my own. It's a nice resort & I loved the boat to Disney Springs. I stayed in the Millers Road area building 18 - can't remember why I chose it at the though but I was happy with the choice

I have since stayed at the Boardwalk and that would be my first choice if I could get the cheaper category studio.
