Sunset lakes

Looking at booking a villa here. Just wondered if anyone could tell us what it’s like in terms of an area and distance to the parks?

We have stayed here twice in a dibb villa (sue’s villa aurora) and are booked to go back. It’s our favourite community, we’ve stayed in Emerald island, rolling oaks, and Windsor Palms in the same area but Sunset lakes is just a bit special. It’s so close to the parks, we always pop back for an afternoon swim before returning to the parks. Super close to the new Walmart plus all the 192 and Target at rolling oaks. We used the Sherbeth road back route into wdw and you can be at animal kingdom in minutes. Even if you take the main entrance to wdw it’s not far at all.
The community itself is so peaceful. The lake views are stunning and there is a nice play area for the kids if you have them.

Fabulous thank you. We were planning to stay onsite at Disney but rethinking now due to the queries over free dining next year and the fact that my 2 will be and 14 and 16, not too sure about sharing a room for nearly 3 weeks!

It does look fantastic and looks really close to the parks. Just waiting on the owner confirming dates and then we will probably book.

We’ve stayed there twice, excellent location although not for a few years. Not in Dibb villas but excellent overall service.

Brilliant location, you would struggle to be closer, great selection of restaurants and shops a couple of minutes drive away.

Peaceful location to relax after a busy day!

Excellent location for Disney, restaurants and shops. You won't regret switching to a villa with kids that age.

Thank you, could you tell us what restaurants are close by? We have always had Disney dining in the past so not really sure where to eat outside that.

Ihop, denny's, Longhorns, olive garden panda express Texas road house (our favourite), McDonalds Burger King, red Robin, fords garage, chick fil a,a few I can remember lol

We have stayed here a few times. Beautiful lake views to warp the sun rise and sunset. The villa we stayed in was excellent but gets booked up early so can’t always get it. Lots of restaurants near buy and very close to Animal Kingdom.
Formosa Gardens is an ideal location. We are booked on Indian Creek this July, not as relaxing as sunset lakes but still very nice and close by.
