Watercolour paints for Children

My Great Nephew will be 8 - he would like a watercolour paint set for his birthday. Trawling through Amazon, I have no idea

Any recommendations please? I was thinking of a set of some sort so that he has all the "equipment" needed. I would like something fairly substantial that he can keep. Help!

Thinking back many years for our Children I seem to remember that paints were always bought for them but rarely used sadly
Even back then the felt pen sets were better received.

Our now 9 yr old Granddaughter is also the same. Give her a huge set of pens and various other craft items and she will be happy for hours on end.

So no use to you at all sorry but I wouldn’t want you to spend a fair bit of money on something that only lasts for an hour then gets put away for good.

My 14 year old son has used this set for 3 or 4 years now and it has been great.

I know exactly what you mean. He loves anything "arty" - draws, makes models etc. Want to get some that are not "cheap" but at same time are not horrendously expensive Last resort will be an Amazon Voucher and he can choose his own
