I tend to do that with new candles, use them as a pretty ornament before I burn them

Hi everyone hope you are all ok, just popping in to share a couple of photos of some mushrooms we came across today, so pretty (but toxic so we didnt touch) brought back memories of my Enid Blyton books!

I also had an interview this morning, to be a youth worker with young people aged 16-21, at a sheltered type accommodation in town near to me, it went really well and I am hopeful I might get this one! Fingers crossed.

We've finished decorating the bedroom - but the furniture doesn't arrive for 3 weeks! Glad we have another bedroom to sleep in

Fingers crossed for the job, it sounds really interesting and challenging. I think I would like that type of thing.

I love the mushrooms, I used to love Enid Blyton stories as a child and always imagined I would find a wishing chair or a faraway tree one day (I’m still looking 😀 )

I ‘retired’ from my volunteering at CAB a couple of weeks ago. It took me a while to make the decision but there’s been many changes over the summer and I felt it was time for me to leave. I received these lovely flowers and card to thank me for my 6 years there which was very nice and cheered me up

I've just had a mad moment and booked hotels in Florida for next Sept/Oct - both are on free cancellation, so we'll need to decide before any flights are booked. Hoping that because it's the 50th anniversary, things might start to improve in the parks - we don't mind masks but not greatly reduced entertainment etc.
I know it's a 50/50 chance of us going but I'm trying to be optimistic.

I'm also looking forward to sorting my Dibb Secret Santa out now I have a name. Most of my Xmas shopping is done (23 people!) - now we wait and see what December brings us all!

I am also looking forward to the secret santa! I love it. My dibb gift sits under the tree and is the one I look forward to the most.
