Would you Wait 4 Hours for a Gift Shop?
Yesterday saw a 4 hour queue (virtual) at Magic Kingdom for Splash Mountain Gift Shop!

Nope, and a lot of the people were buying stacks of stuff to put up on EBAY at vastly inflated prices. Disney should put a limit on what people buy like they do on the online store.

Sometimes people astound me with their actions! At least it was a virtual queue, although I do wonder how effective that was in reality. From one of the CM preview videos it looked as if the exiters from the ride had to walk past the shop queue, and not able to maintain a 2 metre bubble.

I saw a post on Instagram this morning, from a guy who was in the park, people were stripping the shop to sell online!

Absolutely no way! I wouldn’t queue 4 hours, virtual or otherwise, for a ride, let alone a shop! Madness!

I wouldn't queue for more than 5/10 minutes for any shop unless it was absolutely essential - such as food.

Longest queue at Magic Kingdom is for...
...the Splash Mountain gift shop!
It seems the news that Disney will retheme Splash Mountain to Princess and the Frog has led to large numbers of people trying to grab some existing Song of the South merchandise (no doubt to sell on eBay at a profit).  So much so that Disney has set up a virtual queue with waits of 240 minutes reported. Four hours! Just to get into a shop?! That’s almost as bad as the queue for Primark last week.
