I didn’t really see the point of the monorail personally - it covered quite a short area and we walked the distance of it pretty quickly!

The monorail was originally built for the World's Fair in 1962 to take people from downtown Seattle to the Fairground. Disney's monorail is based on it.

Indeed, but doesn’t really serve a useful mass transit purpose now - unless for nostalgia or monorail lovers of course
