Older people fitting kitchens
Just wanted people’s thoughts on this. Someone I know of is fitting a new kitchen which is within his capabilities but he seems to be dragging the process out. He is very much in his golden years and has a tendency to be lazy. Since he started yesterday he has done about an hours work and spent the rest of the time eating chunky Kitkats, watching YouTube and fantasising over Jennifer Lawrence.
I really feel for his wife and think that she should lock him in his hutch and get someone in to do the job properly. He is no spring chicken but he should be working faster and she has the patience of a saint. What would you do? |

I would lock him in his attic room. Regardless!

Refusing to cook til it was done and hiding the KitKats might help. I might just turn off the WiFi too. (Sky have a nice little app where you can turn off other family members WiFi but leave your own on , meant more for teen ogres but might work well in this case too )

That’s a good idea. I was thinking she should cut the plug off his PlayStation which will stop him playing minecraft and fortnite

I did originally think about cutting the wifi but then I thought he is probably even worse bored! I'm not budging from locking him in the attic and getting a professional in.
