Hot Air Balloon
We are looking at going on a hot air balloon in Florida.
Any recommended companies? And what sort of cost are they?

We used Orange Blossom Balloons too in 2008, the cost for 2 adults, 2 kids was $353, about £184 when the exchange rate was £1.93 at the time of booking.
Had a problem with the morning fog so we moved locations and eventually got to go up but it was cool, and sooooo quiet lol! |

We booked with Thompson Aire, a little more expensive than some other companies but we wanted the smaller basket. I worked out brilliantly as there were just the four of us plus pilot in our balloon and the kids got to help set up and put away the balloon. Breakfast was included too.

Another vote for Thompson Aire. They were brilliant. Really professional, small basket, great fun and really involved us in the experience.
We've flown with them twice - second time we got married whilst in the air Can't fault them just fab experience Jo |

We booked ours through Virgin, it was £99pp back in 2007, it was a magical experience!
We got picked up from our hotel, taken to register and meet all the others taking part then we were taken by minibus out to where we helped set up the balloon. It was an early start but it just started to come light as we set off. We got some amazing photos then on landing we all got champagne/orange juice to toast, helped to deflate the balloon and then was taken back for breakfast where we first registered. We got a certificate and commemorative photo. I'd do it again xxx |

Orlando Balloon Rides. They were excellent and a really fun bunch of people. We managed to get tickets on Groupon for about £80 each. Well worth it and I'd definitely do it again.
