DS passed his driving test

DS driving career has not been the easiest, late starter, 3 fails, progressively getting worse but today he passed! So proud of him that he got his anxiety under control and passed with just 4 minors

He won't have the use of a car at Uni but hopefully will pop home soon so he can have a little drive on his own :

That’s great, but now it gets expensive. I had a laugh to see what it would cost to put my daughter on our insurance to drive our skoda kodiaq. She had been driving for over 18 months. Without her £400 with her £4000. She isn’t on the insurance.

I'm hoping his age will count for him as he is 22. But I remember from dd that it was pretty pricey once she passed.

Congratulations, it’s so hard to get passed the nerves but he did it! Waiting for my DS to apply for his driving test.

Our youngest DS who has learning difficulties and is 22 now passed last year aged 21 first time. He hasn’t got his own car but uses our 4 year old Vauxhall zafira cost £600 to add him to our insurance which I thought was very good.

Congratulations to your son, I know all about anxiety and driving as my son 22 was the same. He passed in November and hasn’t driven since because he is desperately trying to find a job to buy a car. Nobody will employ him!
So pleased for your son xx
