Sunday 8th Sept is a HHN at Universal so shutting early , not sure if that means the park will be mega busy with normal guests before it closes

Just wondering how up to date the app actually is and of Hagrids is running even though app shows that it is shut. Thank you
The line showed 120 minutes but we were on and off in an hour... amazing ride!

We have been here the last 3 days- mainly posted at 150 min occ 120. It was down for rain today, we were passing about 2.30pm and seen crowds hovering and the ride testing. We hovered too. From starting to hover until we got off it took an hour. We were very lucky and prob a bit cheeky in joined the crowds hovering. Loved it. With 3 youngish kids we couldn’t spend 2-3 hours in a queue so had given up on it. Before they opened again they put 150 min on the clock, there were definitely people still in the queue despite having been down about 2hrs. When we got off it was posted 90 min.

Thank you - that’s good to know. We will try it first thing tomorrow morning. Am so excited for it - just hoping we don’t get a mega long queue!

We got in the queue outside the park at around 8:15 this morning. We were held there until 8:30ish and then let through to Suess. We were released to walk to the right at at around 8:50 and walked through the majority of the queue. We were off the ride by 9:35. We got front row and it was amazing! Definitely would recommend going early as it was closed for long periods due to weather this afternoon.

We were in IOA today and noticed that hagrids was down due to the rain. When it came back up they instantly put 150 mins up, but not long after that dropped to 2 hours and the 90 mins for a time. So i think they are over egging the queue times.. To add to that someone with an access pass was given a return time of only 30 mins when the actual wait was showing 2 hours.

We got to universal at about 6-30 last night just to ride that . Queue showed 2 hours we were on in about hour and half and that included waiting a bit extra as they needed to take one of the trains off . Such a good ride , easily my favourite one . I don’t do many rides but will try them once but I would do that again.

We tried again this evening but even though it was 150 mins as before the queue was a lot longer so we didn’t bother. A hint for people wanting to estimate the real time it seems from around the indoor section of the queue is around 90 mins without any breakdowns or weather if it is queued after the pre show.

We will probably try again tomorrow as crowds seem to be a bit less today, it was at 90 mins earlier in the day, however chances of rain are increasing over the next few days.

We managed to ride on Thursday. Posted time was 120 mins which was already over my self imposed max wait time but it broke down twice while we were queing so it ended up at 3 hours. Very impressed with the ride though. Much better than I was expecting.

Just back from holiday today. At least a couple of times while we were there Hagrid’s didn’t open until lunchtime so rope drop could be a waste of time if ride doesn’t open- riders held in a theatre somewhere until this reaches capacity which is why such high queue times in the morning. 5pm ish seems to be a good time to try- lowest queue times and rain usually done for the day but before line closes for the day due to reaching capacity.Managed to ride Friday and everyone agreed best ride across all of Disney and Universal!
