No problem at all! Wish I could have stayed for a chat but the smallies were starting to object! Just glad the toddler hadn’t seen all the chocolate I had in the suitcase and demanded it 😂 I’ll try and pop back in to say hi properly- she must think I’m nuts 😁

She said she was smiling at 2 cute children before you went up to her, then she realised you were with them. She was so shocked and said she just couldn't believe how kind a Dibber had been. She left the mixed bits in the office so they are all sharing those.

I said you'd done the programme before and she said she'd have loved to have talked to you about that, so if you do pop back in she'd love to see you.

You’ve just made me realize as an English person in Ireland that I don’t think you can get parma violets here! How weird is that?! But I will seek them out if you can, and definitely take some Dairy Milk (although it’ll be Irish Dairy Milk and I believe that is a little different!)! Having lived away for a very short period of four weeks in Romania I know it’s these little packages that remind you of home that keep you going!

Thank you so very much, she's really enjoying this experience of a lifetime, but she's been quite emotional when she tells us she's had a surprise delivery, so that's a definite indication that she's really missing home.

We are really proud of her as she's naturally quite a reserved girl and it was a massive step moving away for 15m to work and live with strangers. But so far she's loving it and is more confident day by day.

I am astonished at how lovely Dibbers have been/are going to be towards Nadine. It has meant so much to me, knowing my little girl, (well 24 but you'll know what I mean!) is getting care packages from my friends on here. And words cannot explain how happy it has made her.

This whole experience has actually made me feel guilty that I have never thought of taking out British sweets to the UK pavilion the 2 times we have been to Florida. So I will be taking out a lot of sweets in Aug when I can visit.

Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart for offering to take out treats to her and taking time out of your very busy holidays to treat someone's daughter that you have never met.

Hi we are out there from 6th August-25th August and will have plenty of room in our suitcases if your daughter would like anything taking out we would be more than happy to take anything. Makes me remember when I was 18 and went to live in Pittsburgh with Au Pair in America long way from home and it was the care packages from my lovely mum that kept me going . Amazing experience but missed home . Your daughter will have an amazing time !
