Cakes & Lamb

I have the grandchildren over this morning to bake some cakes. I wanted to slow roast my lamb, would you put them both in the oven? I was thinking I would cover the lamb in foil but don't want the cakes tasting of meat

Separate ovens for me, wouldnt want the cakes tainted and both probably need different temps too.

Just take the lamb out while the cakes bake.

Wrap it in foil and a couple of tea towels and it will be fine. (I am assuming that you're baking a 20 minute sponge cake, not a four hour fruit cake )

I would put both in, probably move the lamb underneath so no drips on cakes and stick cakes on top. I always do things your not supposed to tho!

No. Baking is a separate activity. Would your lamb fit in slow cooker? Then finish it in the oven?
