walkie talkies

Do the walkies I have for use in this country work in Paris ?
I know when I go to the states they dont !

it depends on the make, if they are uk Made they work, but we had to buy new ones in florida, at radioshak

Hi,

Radios will work anywhere you take them, even on the moon. I guess you actually mean they're not legal in the states so you don't use them, which is correct.

If the radios are PMR 446 type (most are nowadays) then these are fine to use in the whole of Europe.

I bought my walkie talkies in Argos and use them when I go skiing and they work fine in the French Alpes

were not doing DLP, just a place in Paris called "Bercy"
going there in july for the World BMX Racing Championships
my DD is competing in the 12yr Girls !
Doing DW though in Oct
