So Mad right now! Dog story..
First things first... we have a 9 month old puppy called Indi - She is a weimeraner.
We were just in pets at home to pick up her flea drops, and whilst walking to the vet at the back of the store we walked past a guy who whipped his hand up really fast. I saw him do this but thought nothing of it - just maybe that he was scared of dogs. Whilst I was chatting to the receptionist the bloke came over and said "your dog just bit me". I said don't be silly - she isn't aggressive and is very people friendly. He said she did bite me, did you not see me whip my hand up? - Which of course I said yes I did see that - but She didn't bite you. He also said put a muzzle on her - which if she was aggressive I would do, but she is so soppy - she wouldn't hurt a fly. He was very adamant that she bit him (which I am 100% sure I know she did not! - she didn't even go anywhere near his hand! ) My husband asked to see the mark on his hand - which of course he did not. So he walked away and said he was going to call the police. Which I told him to do. I am so upset about this and keep replaying it through my mind... Has anyone else had anything similar happen? |

How awful. Was he able to show you his injury as he was claiming she bit him. He probably thought he could put in a claim or something

If a dog bit my hand I'm sure I'd scream or at least shout "Ouch"...

See if the shop has CCTV covering that part of the store and get the vets name as well we have we is and if she did which I very much doubt everybody round about would have heard him and he would have called he police there and then go take her for a good walk or a cuddle on the sofa and forget about him

Maybe he is somebody who tries it on and you may not have been the first ones he has pulled the stunt on. You would be amazed at what people will do if they thing they can get something out of it.

I would be very surprised if a puppy would bite anyone! Call his bluff and call for the store manager! He sounds a nutter. And horrible thing to happen to you. I've always had soppy big breeds, but people do decide the are killers! It's a complete pain at times.

Yeah I'd agree with this, I've seen a similar incident happen where I walk my dog, enough of us witnessed nothing happen that the person got a warning for wasting police time.
