So what have you returned to the shops?

Just curious to see if people return items to the shops if they're not happy with them?

Or do you throw them away depending on what said item is?

So what have you returned and why?

I've returned a box of Finest mince pies to Tesco as they had a soggy bottom and a box of Finest cheese straws as they had no cheese on them.

You might think that I'm ridiculous but I paid good money for them and expect them to be good quality, plus I'm Scrooge 😂

Please tell us your little return stories 😉

I returned a pack of Dominos to Aldi that I bought for my son, when he opened them they were cheap rubbish & wouldn’t even stand up 🙄
Didn’t even question it, they have 60 day return policy anyway got £5 back, then bought a better set at Argos with a nice tin £6
Hubbie said don’t bother but I hate getting ripped off

I ordered a pair of slippers - unisex size 42 and what arrived where same slippers but for a child - tidily ! Also they are too camp (even for me) so off to post them back to House of Fraser and been debating so I go to a post office and tandoori inline for ever or bin them and not get the £37 back - I am tempted to bin them given the state of local post office lines around here

I think the only things I normally take back would be a food item that was off or had a similar type of issue.

50p and above I return it!

I did return a security light to Amazon 18 Months ago but that was broken in transit.

Anything I return to Screwfix I have put back on my account which is nicely in credit.

The last thing I returned was a set of solar lights that didn’t work and that was to the shop I work in.

Over the years I’ve seen lots of returns and while most of them are genuine some just take the Mickey

The last thing I returned was a Christmas blouse to Asda.
It wasn’t long enough for me to feel comfortable in,as it didn’t hide my stomach well enough.
I read an article just before Christmas that Llandudno was the worst area for people returning items o shops.Cant remember if it was in the uk though or just Wales.
I must admit though if I order something online and it’s not right 8 times out of 10 it doesn’t get returned, just can’t be bothered with the faff.
