We have some limiting factors, we are first timers, want AI, beach villas(because of the kids) with pools, seaplane transfer (husband is terrible on boats) kids club though they may not use it, multiple dining places.
The big one is I want to go with BA holidays, I have confidence in them and their response when there are issues, I have direct contact in their duty office. I also have 1.5 million avios to use! Ooh great list!
The trouble with the Maldives is there is so much choice if you have the budget for it Is snorkeling important to you? Some resorts have house reefs where as others don’t and it can involve a boat trip Edited at 01:01 PM. |

I have a contact at BA holidays who has emailed me some quotes even though the flights are not out yet.
For me this is more about a lovely holiday than the price. My daughter is working very hard as a hospital doctor so for he mental health I want to have something really fantastic planned, it will be Feb half term 2022, we will all fly club so there is no way this will be cheap! |

Do you want traditional Maldives?
Some on the list are a bit more Instagramable if you know what I mean To me you can’t go wrong with the Constance resorts and the LUX resorts for sheer quality I love Baros too but that’s probably more suited to couples With regards to the boats- I get really seasick but was fine on the fast short speedboat transfers they provide, I actually felt more ill on the seaplane You ll have a great time which ever one you go for The Maldives is an amazing place and you are going at one of the best times weather wise |
