Family Tree - a photo

We’ve had a few threads about researching family trees. I’ve been looking at my Grandad’s family and found this fabulous photo on someone else’s tree (on Ancestry). They agreed to me copying it to my tree.

It’s a wedding obviously, Sept 1929 at All Saints Church in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The man standing on the right of the bride (as we look at the pic) was an uncle by marriage of Grandad.

Putting to one side the actual photographic quality of the picture which is very good it's most unusual to find a photo that old which isn't creased or even ruined by daylight from being in a frame.
Well done, good find.

Great quality photo - with the slight exception of the groom, no one looks particularly happy to be there. Clearly there was no 'say cheese' in those days.

I've got quite a lot of pics of great grandparents - and great great ones, and I've just put these together. One of my great grandmas with my granda in 1909, my dad in 1934 and me in 1955, then with all 3 of us in 1958. I found it fascinating to see her age from a young mum to the great grandma I remember.
