Please tell me all you know about Christmas time in Florida

Parks shouldn't be too bad for the first few days of your trip, we are hoping to go on 15th too. Seaworld is lovely at Christmas, would definitely recommend going there.

The outlets were open on Christmas Day, which I was tempted by, but we went to Seaworld instead which wasn't as manic as the others.

We were lucky with the weather both times we went, kids were in the villa pool every day although a bit chilly for me. Way better than here though!

Christmas is Florida is simply magical. There's no other way to describe it. Went consecutively for many Christmas and new years and really miss it now. Weather very variable as some have said. I've been in Animal Kingdom Christmas day and had to buy a very overpriced vest in the park as was so hot. Been in Universal Studios Christmas day (extremely quiet!) and had to buy gloves on way in as so cold. Well worth booking character meals in Disney if this is feasible for you...takes you away from the crowds. We did Gaylord Palms for Christmas dinner one year too. Restaurants tend to be open though. Fast food places too. As someone else said, boxing day not a thing so straight to the shops for amazing bargains!

All the comments are really making me think Christmas could be a good thing...now to try to persuade DH and break it to the parents that we might not be here for Christmas! Then we might be able to book
