We have stayed several times at Best Western Hospitality House 49th and Lexington . We have had a one bed with sofa bed in lounge , there’s also a good kitchen which is great as some times it’s nice to grab something to eat in, there’s one of the best pizza shops next door . It’s about a 15 minute walk to Times Square , you pass the Rockefeller on the way .

We stayed at The Wellington which is on 7th Ave and 55th St and it has suites with a kitchenette and sleeps 4 people. We have rebooked it for next year (fingers crossed) there is a great diner on the ground floor, a starbucks across the road and is within walking distance of Times Square, Central Park and there is also a subway stop across the road. Rooms are a good size and the Staff were super helpful (we got stranded in NYC for 2 nights on our way to Orlando last year).

We were booked into hotel Beacon (upper west side) as they do suites. But had to cancel this years trips.

If we manage to get there next year I think I’d want to be more central to be able to walk more rather than using the subway.

I have stayed there in a junior suite, when it first opened. It was brilliant. We were two adults and two teens and it was plenty big enough with a fridge in the room. We also had access to a lounge that had snacks, soft drinks, wines and beers. There was usually only us in there so we could pop on the tv and relax. The views from the floor to ceiling windows are fantastic too and its in a great location. Just off Times Square so not in the hustle and bustle as soon as you walk out of the hotel. Port Authority Bus Terminal is just a couple of minutes walk away too if you are planning on getting the bus to Jersey Gardens Mall.

Oh thanks that all sounds fab. 😀 just hope NYC opens up a bit more before the summer as I really fancy adding it onto our trip, but we are waiting to see what happens in the next couple of months as they’ve been pretty strict in NY with the rules I believe. 🤞🏼
