Sainsbury Delivery

Hi Guys

DH and I use Tesco for our deliveries and we shop for us and my Mum on one slot. I book our slot a month in advance and just put a few bits in the "basket" until nearer the time.

DH has just set deliveries up for his Mum and he says it won't let him save a "basket" of less than £40. Have others found this? Or is there a way around it?

I know Asda you have to spend £40!

We use Sainsbury’s for the nursery deliveries and we put an iron in the basket to save the slot. Just remember to remove it before you check out!

Yes, it’s always been that, but there is a delivery pass process also

Thanks the iron tip is a good one. Lateral thinking at it's best. At least I now know this is a Sainsburys policy.

Yep minimum £40 to hold the slot for us with Asda. We just add in 5 or 6 packs of nappies to hold the spot then when we’re ready to order we delete them and add our shopping. One day I know I’m going to forget to remove them and have nappies galore arrive here hahaha 🤪

Just add a few bottles of champagne to hold, that what I do. Whatever you do remember to delete them though ...

DH has suggested putting an expensive bottle of gin in basket! This could all end in tears. 🙈

I normally add champagne or whisky 😊
And then update the day before the delivery after I have done my menu for the week
