The one that I have with my main bank is set up to be paid off in full every month automatically. I haven’t got round to setting up a direct debit for my Amex, so that one is a payee on my current account and I pay it manually every month.

Have two CCs purely to use for payment protection and avios and Tesco points. Log in every few days and pay the balance. Shows immediately in my bank app so I know how much money I’ve got left.

When you get your first statement with a balance you will see a payment slip attached. This should give you a bank sort code , account number and a refrence to quotr . Once you have that log onto you bank and just set it up as a payee. Then you can pay what you want when you want.
But if you intend to pay it off in full then DD is the simpliest and easiest , plus if they forget to take the payment you don't pay interest, unlike if you forget.
