Best Manchester Airport hotel for access to the train station

The travelodge in Didsbury is right opposite East Didsbury train station (only three stops/10mins to the airport) and its by a cineworld, bowling alley and loads of eating places and pubs to keep you entertained the night before!

Yes, we quite like the travelodge in east didsbury for the above reasons. We’ve only used it twice but it was clean and comfortable, friendly staff and convenient. Its cheap (if you time it right) and cheerful and is certainly no Raddisson Blu but it does the job!

We have booked one of the premier inns for £29 for a family room.
Will get the train into the airport the afternoon before we fly and do twilight check in to get rid of the cases and them get a taxi or shuttle bus to the hotel.

We use premier inn heald green all the time as it’s right at the station and only 4min train to the airport.

The best in terms of quality and convenience is the Radisson Blu.

We are staying at Radisson blue, doing twilight check in day before, with a disabled husband and two children under 4, trying to make it as easy as poss for us all.

I love the Hilton which is just behind the train station, 5 min walk or 3 if you cut through the bus entrance!

Also do a free shuttle to get you to the terminals.
