Mobile Is there such a thing as a rucksack that doesn't make your back sweat?

I'm sure I've seen something on here before where there is some sort of mesh spacer on the back of the bag to allow airflow. Or am I just making it up?

We have always used the good old dibb favourite decathlon ruck sacks before but as we are going in August this time I am sure chief bag carrier DH would appreciate a bit of back breeze 🤣🤣🤣

We had the decathlon specials in August. We didn’t take too much around with us which helped. I am sure you can get mesh bags..

"Proper" backpacks, made for walking etc, often come in a way that means they sit off the back of the wearer, allowing air to pass between the back and pack.

Berghaus Freeflow are one such range. Flick through the pictures here and you'll see ho it is constructed: amazon/Berghaus-Fr...1530872&sr=8-3

I used Lowe Alpine Freeflow when we walked part of the Camino. My back never got sweaty at all despite the really hot temperatures.

We got one from Decathlon with the mesh spacing at the back for our trip last September - it's really nice. It's perfect size IMO for Disney. You can get it in bigger sizes too

Would you consider a waist /bum bag. I much prefer them for that reason and between us we can carry everything we need.

I always wear a bum bag and DD will have one too but DH won't entertain one! We wont need a rucksack ever day but want to be able to take our refillable mugs with us a couple of days as we are planning to take a break at a hotel for lunch when at Epcot and MK. It will come in handy for our beach day etc too.

Any decent backpack with a frame should be ok.
