Is it normal for BB and TL to be closed on same day?

Hi all

I got a DIBB alert for park hours changing for this Friday 21st to say Blizzard Beach would now be closed.

Typhoon Lagoon is currently closed for refurb. Is it usual for both water parks to be closed same day?

I’ve been watching on behalf of my friend who’s there and hoped to do a Disney water park Friday.

It is during cold weather.

Not unusual when they know the temperature is going to drop. It happens fairly regular in the winter months but usually for no more than a couple of days.

Just checked my phone and it's only supposed to be a high of about 14c on Friday so that will be why.

It was really cold and raining on Friday. To warm up again Sunday.

It got down to 9 degrees yesterday (Friday) and the wind was bitter which was the reason for the closure. CM’s were in many layers and still complaining about the cold. Back up to 21 degrees today and hotter as the week progresses..
