Brilliant.
We were lucky enough in October to get one. We had a man about 65 years old, very knowledgable, we emailed before we arrived and chatted about what we might like to do. We walked over the Brooklyn Bridge with him into Brooklyn Heights, we saw some amazing areas that we might not have gone to on our own. We went out to lunch with him, he knew of a great pizzeria there and we treated him to lunch as a Thank you.
Happy Planning.

The highlight of our first N.Y.trip! Ron telephoned us the night before to arrange to meet in the hotel lobby next morning, we saw so much with him, our day lasted 6 hours. We took local gifts for him and made a donation on our return

We had a fantastic time with our greeter Judy, she was 70 and amazing. We met at 10am and she left us at around 2pm. We went on the subway up to the Flatiron district and walked all over finally ending up at the Highline. Definitely the highlight of our trip, she wouldn't accept any food or drink but we gave her a few gifts from home and made a donation when we returned home. If we visited again I would request another greeter.

Fantastic our greeter Cal was amazing. He had worked in the film industry for years and kept very discreetly pointing out celebs who I would have walked past. He took us to places us two women would prob not have gone, Harlem being the highlight. It was the best part of the trip by a mile.

Is it not awkward at all? Might sound like a silly question, but I can feel a bit awkward with people I don't know. A bit forced almost 🙈
