Anyone had their virgin flights changed?

Hi

We are booked on a delta code share but flying with virgin both ways, direct from man-Mco.

Going out on 10 August on the earlier flight
Return 31 August on the later flight

Both flights are showing as full as far as I can tell, as are all the outbound flights on a Thursday for the preceding 3 weeks.

I know it's peak time, but don't know why I was surprised by this as other days of the week aren't full yet?

Just had an email to say we are now on the earlier flight on the way home (which is fine).

Has anyone else had this? Why do they do this, do you think they are consolidating flights? If so, why?

Not that any if this matters of course... I'm just curious ... too nosey for my own good ha ha.

We have just had our flight to Atlanta on 11 May changed to the following day ! I am trying to change it but cant decide whether to go a day earlier on the 10th or go indirect (via Orlando !) on the original date.Just when everything was booked ! .

My flight on 28th April has been changed twice in last 2 days.

Yes today in fact... on the way back it's now the following day😩
I honestly don't know what to do as there is no way my work will let me have an extra day😟

Same here! Were you booked on VS27? We got an email yesterday saying the time had changed to 11:20 and then got an email this morning saying the flight number had changed and we're now leaving at 13:00?!

No idea what's going on. Currently on hold to them waiting to have a moan and query what was with the conflicting info.

Yes exactly the same! I think the 11am has been cancelled. Let us know how you get on with virgin. I'm a bit annoyed as specifically wanted the 11am flight.

It happens a lot, the time isn't 100% guaranteed when you book. I remember reading on here last year April/May flights seemed to be changed loads. Ours on the 24th April has changed 3 times from 11.45 to 11.30 to 11.20 in the last week.

I appreciate times can change slight etc. But there are a lot of posts on here currently about a lot of Virgin flights being changed/cancelled... Pretty poor to be honest! You'd think a big airline like Virgin would be able to predict demand.. We normally fly BA and can't say I've ever encountered it with them before.

Our flights in April were for 13.15, then they changed to 13.00, then they changed to 11.35! Today I got an email from Virgin saying they had changed to 13.00! Checked my booking through 'My booking', still showing 11.35. Contacted Virgin through Twitter who tell me it is 11.35 but can't explain why the email says 13.00, worrying?...
