Mobile Alamo tollpass charges

Hi Dibbers, need help, just seen statement for toll charges. We have been charged $37.54 for 2 weeks. I have read the info and it states max per rental is $19.75. Are there any other charges? Not had this problem before. Do I chase this up with tollpass or Alamo?

Hi. The $19.75 is the maximum admin fee so you used the SunPass lanes on at least 5 separate days to reach the maximum amount.

However within the figure of $37.54 you mention will be the tolls as well.

If you enter your details in this link you will see a full breakdown of the said charges.

Do you get charged the tollpass to the credit card you leave with Alamo or do they invoice you and you pay? It was always cash at booths all times we have been before!

Sunpass admin and toll fees are charged to the CC or (compliant debit card) of the lead driver that was swiped as you left the barrier.

Can often hit your account in more then one transaction though as it depends when the highway authority invoice Alamo.

Thank you Mr Tom Morrow, that makes sense then, thought the $19.74 was the total including tolls not just the admin.

well the companies that do all inclusive flat fee, will charge you way more than that

you can consider over $50 per week with dollar and over $80 per week with sixt.

I have a related query. We returned from Florida middle of June... and I am still receiving toll charges to my CC in late August; small amounts... 1 or two pounds every two weeks or so... is this normal.. or is there something wrong somewhere. Thanks.

It can be, some of them are slow reporting, you can check your tolls at the link below if with Alamo.

Alamo are currently trying to add a $5+ charge to my Revolut, but we paid all the tolls cash. Thankfully my card is frozen. I have mailed them to challenge the charge.
