I actually find the handmaids tale fascinating because while it is a work of fiction, it isn’t that crazy to the point where it couldn’t happen. It is important for people to be educated about what could happen (all too quickly) if certain ideas get into government

I completely agree , yes we know it’s fiction but I agree that it could easily have become some form of reality the way cults work .I just feel that it gives the viewer some sort of perspective as to how people should never take their freedom for granted .i find it intriguing .

it's of the same genre as Black mirror which i enjoy. I think these things serve as a warning. I do wonder in the world today just how long it would take for things to turn to something as unpleasant as this in a country such as the US.

Regarding the book, Margaret Atwood is releasing a second book in the series this year, September i think.

Yes she is doing a promo tour in October I think, I noticed when I was looking at booking the Lion King at the Odean that she is doing a promo in London that is going to be broadcast in Cinema's at the same time.

Scary watching what is happening in the USA regarding Abortion Laws. I think if I was living over there I'd be seriously considering a move to Canada before its too late!

I won’t post any spoilers but I absolutely loved it, what a way to end what has been such a good season. What a happy emotional ending but at the same so terribly devastating!
