What to do on changeover day RPR to POR 23/12?

We check-in POR on 23/12, coming over from RPR. Would anyone recommend (or not) doing earlyish check-out and a final short session at IOA or US for a last go on a couple of fav. rides, then back to RPR to collect bags & Uber to POR to check-in and collect magic bands and go to either EP or HS in the afternoon/evening with pre-booked FP and watch JBJB

I'm thinking avoid MK & AK as they are both EMH and we won't be able to make use of it that day.

What we did was checkout early and have luggage services collect and store our bags, last few rides in both parks before lunch at Hard Rock Cafe, back to collect luggage and off to POR to check in. We then went to AK that evening for dinner at Yak & Yeti and evening safari.

Thanks for that Sha9. So it's certainly do-able. Regarding check-in to POR, do I do it online in advance? We'll need to collect our magic bands so I'm guessing we still go to reception on arrival anyway.

We left our luggage with the hotel, had the morning in the parks, lunch at hard rock and then moved to POR, so definitely doable.

We left our luggage and car at RPR. Stayed until mid/late afternoon and were checked into POR by 4:30.

We went popped in DHS to go on GMR (and ToT) the day before it closed and then headed to Disney Springs and Planet Hollywood.

Yes you need to go and collect Magic Bands so it�s up to you. I did online check in anyway for room preferences.
