Disney dinning plan booking

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me. We are looking at going to Disney next year but this time staying at Disney for the first time so would want to take advantage of the Disney dinning plan.

But my question is when do we book the holiday (direct with Disney) to get the dining plan, in the past we have always booked around January to go in September but the offer on the Disney site (dining plan, $100 gift card and tickets) by 22nd October, so can anyone inform me if we were to book after that if the dinning plan would still be avaible (but maybe a charge for it?)

After that date it would be at cost yes

If you did want to take advantage of the offer, you could maybe book for 1 person and pay a £50 deposit to secure free dining before 22nd October, and then when your plans firm up add everyone else on to the booking later.

I would change my booking habits to secure the dining plan for free. You only need to pay a deposit at time of booking and if you need to tweak dates it is generally easily done.

We booked 18 months in advance. You only need to pay deposit and you can tweak dates if you need to.

Advice as above, paying for it probably isn't going to save to any money & in most cases you are paying for the privilege.
