ADR booking

Have not been to Disneyworld for a few years. Last time I did ADR I’m sure we could choose the restaurant ? Having a look on MDE, it seems that you choose a time or type of meal - Breakfast, lunch etc- and it gives you availability at all restaurants. Am I missing something or is that definitely how you do it ? I have my list of places ready for Monday and was hoping I could just choose the restaurant and work around the times they have. It could be it’s always been that way and I’m just ‘remembering’ something that’s not true

I just type the name of the restaurant in to the search box at the top of the home page, then go directly to the restaurant's page and book from there

There's also a search box at the top of the restaurant list on the dining page, so you could use that too.

Never mind I found that going through MDE on the website is easier than the app. More filters so can narrow down the restaurants. Out of interest, tried CRT for the latest date available - 1st April - and there is availability on the website but can’t see any on the app ? My DD is keen to do this just to be in the castle so that’s to be my first booking I know the food isn’t the best but if we are hungry after we can grab something else later.

Thanks for this ! Sorry was writing my reply above as you were posting yours. Will definitely use the website rather than app. It only gives me time options.

The app is very glitchy, so I tend to use the website for booking adrs and fastpasses
