Hoop De Doo Revue - is it any good?

Loads of people seem to rave about this in guide books etc but it looks really cheesey. Will it appeal to two Brits aged 12 and 9?

Who knows, all Brits that are 9 and 12 don't necessarily like the same things.

Oh it's utterly charming; our two first saw it at about that age and asked to go back when we went two years later. Yes it is cheesy, corny jokes and belly laughs, audience participation, stock characters, but with a heart: had me in tears when they sang white Christmas on Christmas Day (magical!).

My (then) 9 and 7 year olds loved it.

Just lots of fun and giggles. I would highly recommend it.

We have taken the granddaughters to it, they loved it, similar ages.
We have been ourselves about eight times, so maybe we are biased but having seen other shows, this is our favourite.

We love HDDR, we have done it three times now and its been every bit as cheesily hilarious on each occasion. don't go for the food! the food is enjoyable but is absolutely not the main bit but by all means sit back and keep the pitchers of beer coming!
