T-Rex

ADR day is approaching and we had problems getting a dinner time reservation at T-Rex last year. There were plenty of 4pm or 9pm slots but nothing in-between!

I read somewhere that they keep back the prime slots so that they can accommodate walk ups. Does anyone know if there is any way around this, could I ring the restaurant direct or do they have their own booking system outside of the disney one that I could try?

Get a Landry select card and you won't need to book..you can just go to the podium and you'll be given a table almost right away, even before people with reservations. You pay $25 to join but that's credited to you off your first meal, sign up having your birthday during your trip and you get a further $25 credit for your birthday reward. So $50 off your meal and no reservation needed.

The only walk ups will be Landry card holders, for the sake of $25- that you get back on first use, I would get one - no need for an ADR, front of the queue.

Thank you, I will look into the Landry card. I'm on the DDP so would the $25 credit go towards a tip instead?

If I go in 3 days it obviously wouldn't arrive in the post, but can you register using an app? Or do you have to have a card,?

Lindy I think that you just need your "card number", you don't physically need the card.
I believe that it can't be used for tips or drinks, but if you get a card & "make" your birthday whilst you are there then you effectively have $50 towards your meal & use that 1 TS somewhere else.

You don't need a physical card. As long as you have your membership number and show it then you'll get the next available seats.

...and Yes, you do get $50 credit against your meal ( if it's your 'birthday' ) but remember it cost you $25 to join, so in net terms you save $25.

Still, $25 off and pretty much immediate seating is well worth while!

Landry card..

Today we skipped the queue outside.. Asked for a table.. Was told 1 hour 30 mins ...

Showed the landry card.. Got a warm welcome and was seated within 10 mins..

Well worth the $25 and setting your dob within the month of travel for a few extra $25... (Note.. The mrs birthday was infact in Oct but no id was asked as the credit was already on the account.)

See my recent thread about my food though...
