Mobile ADR and dining plan questions

Hi all. So end of October I can start booking our restaurant reservations. We have the dining plan. When I book the restaurants through my disney experience does it show you which ones are on the dining plan and which are not. Is there a symbol? Not done this before so wasn't sure how you would know. Thanks

Pretty much all of the restaurants are included, but on each restaurant page it will tell you if the accept the dining plan and which credits (qs or TS) Signature dining, Cinderella's Royal Table and dinner shows are 2TS credits. Some of the restaurants for the fantasmic, rivers of light and lion king dining packages are 2TS credits too, but the page with the info about those should say which are 1 credit and which are 2.

If by first night, you mean travel day, then it's best to just stick to a qs meal. Lots can happen to delay you arriving at the time you hope and there's a $10pp no show fee. We're never particularly hungry on travel day, especially as our body clocks are still telling us it's 5 hours later. So, we just grab a qs meal or snack and save TS meals for when we are awake and refreshed enough to enjoy them

The information is all there on the restaurant page, but you won’t get any indication through the actual booking process regarding it being on the dining plan or not.

Fortunately there are very few exceptions, but if you want to doublecheck, you will have to browse the restaurant page first.

I also would not book anything for first night as you could be delayed and might not feel like much food.

Thank you all. Yes I think first night we will just do QS. I'm right in saying we receive our credits on the day we arrive including credits to use for that day.

Yes, all of your credits are added to your mde account when you check in and can be used any time, in any order, between checking in and midnight on the day you check out
