Disney dining plan suggestions!
Hi everyone!
In May will be the first time that my boyfriend and I are on the DDP and with the 180 day window approaching relatively soon (Nov 5th) I’ve been looking at what restaurants we could do - but there’s just so many, we’ve managed to decide on most of them but need a couple more! And also opinions on the ones we have decided would be great! So I was wondering if you guys could help! We have it for 10 days, so 10 TS credits to use, but also will be happy to pay for some as well so we can have a couple 2 TS meals. These are the definite TS: - Akerhus breakfast - Chef mickeys breakfast - Nine dragons lunch/dinner - Mama Melrose Fantasmic - Yachtsman Steakhouse dinner - California Grill dinner - Dinner at Disney Springs (suggestions please!) And definite QS: - BOG breakfast/lunch (which is better?) - Blaze pizza In terms of what we like to eat - we can be a bit fussy and definitely don’t like seafood, we mainly like American, British and Italian style food - and we would be open to Indian/African style food depending on the menu, I had decided on Sanaa but then read some reviews that it isn’t great just now! Just any suggestions would be great thanks, we want to get the best out of this plan so please let us know if you think we’re missing anything! |

How about Tusker House with the Rivers of Light package for 1TS? We find buffets are better for us due to having fussy eaters.

Hi!
Of the ones you've chosen, we've done Mama Melrose and Cali Grill. We liked Mama Melrose and when we went it was three courses for the Fantasmic Package (someone will correct me if that has changed since) Cali Grill was amazing, and is on our list to re do next year. We timed dinner so that we had a break between main and desert, to watch the fireworks. One of those special nights you'll never forget. In Disney Springs we've been to The Boathouse which was really nice, and a great setting, but not great use of 2TS. We also went to Paradiso 37 which my son loved but I wouldn't say it was anything you couldn't find somewhere else. We've not been been, but have you looked at Raglan Road? Gets good reviews Happy planning ! |

Personally I would not bother with Nine Dragons, most takeaways are better quality.
In Epcot I'd look at Teppan Edo Chefs De France San Miguel and if you like Illuminations then consider Rose&Crown Boma, an African buffet, is one of our must do's every time. As suggested, I think Raglan Road in DS would be a good option

I love Chefs de France; breakfast or dinner at 1900 Park Fayre, breakfast at BOG (have done BOG lunch as well and while my DD preferred lunch I like breakfast). Personally I don’t book all my ADRs at 180. I like to keep a couple up my sleeve for when I’m there as there is usually still plenty of available. Looks like we’re there at the same time!

We love Boma at animal kingdom lodge. It is African food, but it is a buffet so you can pick & choose what suits your tastes. For quick service I can highly recommend Polite Pig & Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs.

Tusker House breakfast buffet was one of our favourites when we went for our honeymoon. We're going back there again next May!
