Can we fit in Universal?
We are going back to our families happy place next July and haven't told our girls yet!
My DW and I had planned everything and had decided to stay on site at Disney for the 3 weeks and do nothing but Disney but this evening while talking about past trips our daughters said they would love to go back to Universal Can you give me your honest advice is it possible to fit in all the Disney Parks plus the Disney Water Parks and Universal Studios and Islands

I would say so, we go for 4 weeks and either do Disney or universal but we do seaworld, discovery cove, bush etc every time.
Universal is 4 days for us, leaving well over 2 weeks for Disney parks, easy done I would say. |

You can do it all there’s also a universal water park 3 weeks is plenty to do 9 parks! Enjoy.

Easily! We manage it in our 2 week trips (although we do go in September so probably a bit quieter!). These days we tend to do a night at HRH to get the 2 days express passes and find you can comfortably cover both parks well that way

As above, easily. We usually do all parks in 2 weeks. I don’t think I could cope with just Disney for 2 weeks, let alone 3 but I know that everyone is different 😂. You will have plenty of time. We usually do a night in Universal hotels to get express passes as we usually visit in summer holidays! X

Definitely... we are doing 2 weeks this year - normally do 17 nights. We have 4 nights in universal and 10 in Disney.

Last time we went for 2 weeks, we did the 4 main Disney Parks, 2 Universal Parks, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Discovery Cove, Aquatica, KSC, still had time for an airboat ride and plenty of shopping.
I'm not one for doing the same stuff over and over again, would rather do the bits I want to do in each park in 1 day and move on to something different

In a 3 week holiday? Yes, easily possible.
We manage to fit Disney, Universal *and* Seaworld into a 2 week holiday. Admittedly, we only visit one waterpark once (we're not really waterpark people). So, you could spend 3 days at Universal Studios and IOA. That still leaves around 18 days at Disney - that's plenty of time to do every Disney park (you could do 3 days at each park!).

So that's 4 days at MK, 3 days at AK, 3 days at EP, 2 days at HS, 3 days at the waterparks, 3 days at the Universal parks, and a couple of "hotel days"?
That generally seems fine to me. It's far more days at the Disney parks than we've ever spent in any of our holidays. I think the most we've ever spent at Disney was 9 days and that seemed enough. Personally, I would probably change day 11 to a full day at both US & IOA (park hopping between the two) and move the shopping to another day. Possibly change one of the MK or AK days - or a hotel day - into a shopping day. Also, not that you need to, but in the evenings after your waterpark days you could visit a theme park to watch the fireworks and do some rides. Same applies to the hotel days.
