Help - a Day in MK and/or MVMCP?

We've never been to any paid special event at Disney before, but our next trip will be at a time of year we have never visited and probably won't again, so I am considering whether to buy tickets to MVMCP as a one-off experience.

I absolutely do want to see MK decorated for xmas so as we already have some old non-expiry tickets from years ago to use, that feels like a 'free' day out. So we could just go on a non-party day and have 12 hours in the park or we could just buy the party tickets and have an evening there, although I think I'd feel cheated not being able to fit in everything in just a few hours, or we could buy the evening tickets and have a very long day from 9am-midnight and see and do everything including the special parade and fireworks.

The date I'm thinking of would be Thursday 29th November and the tickets are $99, so the question is, what should I do and is the extra cost worth it?

If you love Christmas you will love mvmcp. Nothing Disney offers is value for money as we all know but experience wise it’s great. The parade is lovely and the fireworks fabulous . It puts you in the mood for Christmas .
